Nick Clegg, Liberal Democrat Sheffield Hallam MP, held a question and answer session with residents of Fulwood on Thursday evening (February 7).
As the local MP, Nick held a public meeting at Hallam Community meeting rooms. Local people were invited to come along to ask questions on national and local issues.
Over 50 people attended and the meeting was chaired by longstanding local Liberal Democrat Councillor Andrew Sangar.
“I find my regular constituency question and answer sessions extremely valuable. As a local MP I’m keen to help wherever I can and it is always useful to find out how residents are feeling about the issues of the day.
“In Government Liberal Democrats want to build a stronger economy and a fairer society. But we can only do that if we listen to local people and act on their concerns.”
Cllr Andrew Sangar said:-
“The event was a great opportunity for local people to ask questions about national issues, but also discuss how we can work together to improve the local area.”
